Colorado is known for its 300 days of sun, but it’s also known for unpredictable snow late in the season. That means our state has the best of both worlds — snow on the ground, sun in the sky — for taking in some of Colorado Springs’s most enjoyable adventure sports. Snowboarding and snowshoeing are the go-to’s on winter days, but next time consider strapping in for a Jeep or ATV tour. Snowy trails make these rides more adrenaline-inducing and more forgiving as you slide, plow, and ride along open-trail networks on your way to destinations like the top of Pike’s Peak, where you can take in the panoramic views with all your needs covered — blankets, coats, and snacks are all provided. We wouldn’t be surprised if exploring this winter wonderland on four wheels will have you ready to go again!
